The internetional day, a day where we represent different countries from all over the world, a lot of people wear clothings of their country and make stores that sell things which could represent the different countries they have choose.There were people doing dragon dance around the school, people who was playing their instrument and there were also performances in the hall.
In the hall, people perform things that I represent their countries, dances like the german slap dance and indian dance. there were also people who perform the instruments from their country and acts about some ancient stories and legends of certain countries such as japan and china.
The HUGE video game makers,”Nintendo”, is unveiling its new “Wii” console, everyone might think that the name, “wii”, is very strange,but they stated”Names always sound strange at the begining, names like yahoo and google sound strange when we hear it for the first time, doesn’t it?”. It is said that ”wii” would be released in the last three months of this year, this was announced on the fringes of the world’s biggest computer games show in Los Angeles on May 10, 2006
The Nintendo’s new console,”Wii”, have a controller that shaped like a TV remote and engineered with motion sensors and speakers, which can help people that had never played video games before to enjoy the game as well as others who played.
The Nintendo also stated “there are people who play and people who do not, but we will help destroy that wall between them. Anyone can instantly understand Wii.”
I think the design of the remote is fasinating, the motinn sensor would give us the felling we want. For example, if we are swinging a sword in the game we are playing, we will acutly feel that we are swinging the sword. So i decide that i would definetly buy the Nintendo’s new console, “wii”.
I can still rember my first day at high school, it was so scary. When I walked into the school,I saw all the people are bigger than me. I tried to find my friends to talk to, so that i can clam myself down, but i realise that….all my friends went to a different school with me. Then I didn’t even dare to touch the people bigger than me, this is because they all looked very scary.
Later, i went to my class and i felt pretty glad, because i’m not the only asian and the other people wont tease me about i’m a asian. Then i made some new friends and talked about how we felt when we first got into the school.Some say that they were excited, others say that they acutly felt normal about going to high-school.
later that day, i said goodbye to the new friends i met and went home
